Investing in stocks is a complex discipline that requires a systematic approach, discipline, and thorough analysis. Although there are many ranking systems and recommendations available, I never found one that gave me a real, lasting edge. Most recommendations felt like a coin toss — a 50:50 chance. That approach never satisfied me.
Why I Needed My Own Way
I often realized that when selecting stocks, I overlooked important parameters. Because of this, I missed risks that later became obvious and could have cost me money. I wanted to avoid hasty decisions born from a lack of system or insufficient discipline.
I needed to create my own order, my own system that would help me filter and pick potentially profitable stocks based on clear quantitative data. My goal was to achieve more efficient, faster, and consistent decision-making, resistant to emotions and impulsive moves.
Why a Scoring System?
With the growing amount of available data and information, scoring systems are becoming increasingly effective. They allow you to:
- Eliminate emotional influences like fear, greed, or FOMO
- Establish consistent rules so you always make decisions in the same way
Even though I lacked discipline, my own scoring system taught me how to build it — helping me systematically collect and evaluate data without relying on chance.
What Is Decameron.io?
Decameron.io is a tool I created to share my system with others. It allows users to answer an interactive set of questions and generates an objective stock score based on their responses. This approach helps remove subjectivity and emotions from investment decisions and provides a clearer, data-driven view of potential investments.
